These turmeric garlic prawns are full of flavour and make for a super speedy weeknight dinner when served alongside some stir - fried vegetables. Prawns are rich in B Vitamins and Iron to help with energy levels, whilst the garlic and turmeric add an anti - inflammatory boost!
And if you're not a prawn fan, this flavour combination also works beautifully with chicken and salmon.
180g raw peeled king prawns
1 tbsp ghee or olive oil
3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
1 tsp ground turmeric
½ tsp paprika
Salt & pepper
½ a lime cut into wedges (to finish)
Chopped coriander or parsley to garnish (optional)
1. Heat up a frying pan over a medium heat, adding all of the ingredients except the lime and fresh herbs, stirring well to coat the prawns.
2. Cook the prawns for 2 minutes on each side or according to the packet instructions.
3. Squeeze over the lime, sprinkle with fresh chopped coriander or parsley, serve as desired and enjoy!
